Hugo Cantarra (b. 02 october 1991) is a French-born DJ, record producer, remixer and label owner. Hugo was born in Nice, France. Raised in Toulouse, he began DJ-ing at 15 years of age. He started out as a drummer, in few bands such as pop rock, punk and hard rock style, around 2000s. Becoming a resident for several bars and clubs at 16s, including club in Paris and Cannes, he quickly discovered a real passion for the stage and start to be on tour everywhere in France. With his energic sets, Hugo has become a highly in demand DJ in France. That’s why Hugo touched down at the International Movie Festival of Cannes, Famous french luxury resort Courchevel, Paris, Nice, Morocco, Spain, Moscow, Brussels, London, Barcelona, China, Hong Kong, Macau to name only the most recognized.
Hugo released his first record « Mercury » in late 2015 on the prestigious records label « Armada Music » (Armin Van Buuren label) with climbed up #20 on Beatport progressive house top. Supported by Martin Garrix, Julia Jordan, Yves V, Dimitri Vangelis and Wyman to say a few, he decided to giveaway all earnings to UNICEF.
After this first solo release he decided to create his own records label « KIDS Records Fondation », a new concept of label based on a charity foundation system where all earnings from it are donated to UNICEF for disadvantaged children over the world.
